Hi, I am Yuchen (Amber) Mao. I am currently a masterโs student at the Center for Information and Language Processing (CIS) at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), specializing in Computational Linguistics. Before that, I earned a Bachelorโs degree in Law from Peking University Law School. From June to August 2024, I worked as a research assistant at the XLANG Lab at the University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Professor Tao Yu, focusing on VLM digital agents and their applications in real-world computer environments. Starting in October 2024, I will continue my research journey at the MaiNLP Lab at LMU Munich.
My research interest includes low resource language processing, legal NLP, and LLM/VLM agents.

I enjoy playing the piano and am currently learning to compose and arrange my own songs. I am a big fan of CantoPop. I also have a passion for stage planning and management, enjoying the behind-the-scenes work that brings performances to life. I am also a bouldering enthusiast.
